Ms. Laboy is the Education Outreach Specialist for the Ocean County Soil Conservation District. She has over 20 years of experience working as an educator in both formal and informal education and natural science settings. She holds an MA in Education, a BS in Environmental Biology and a BA in International Relations.
Presentation: Ms. Laboy provides programs free-of-charge to community groups, clubs, homeowner associations, teachers, students, scouts, public officials, state and federal agencies and non-profit groups. She offers programs on a variety of topics including: soil, native plants, Jersey-Friendly Yards, low-maintenance landscaping, sustainable and urban gardening, non-point source pollution prevention, backyard wildlife and other conservation issues.
Availability: She is available on weekdays, evenings and limited weekends, by prior arrangement. Her focus area is Ocean County and the Barnegat Bay watershed. She may travel to other areas of New Jersey for special events. For PPT presentations she can bring her own laptop and projector. For hands-on programs she will provide all materials.
