$202023 Jersey-Friendly Yards Conference: Changing Climate, Changing Yards
Hosted by the Barnegat Bay Partnership
Here in New Jersey we’re seeing the impacts of a changing climate, including in our yards. At this year’s Jersey-Friendly Yards conference, we’ll learn about landscaping practices that help us get ready for climate-change challenges like heat, drought, intense rain and flooding. Featured speakers will be Dr. Christopher Obropta (Extension Specialist in Water Resources, Rutgers Cooperative Extension) and Christopher Miller (Cape May Plant Center Manager/Conservation Agronomist, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service). As always, a native plant sale will be part of the conference. Take home some climate-ready, wildlife-friendly native plants!

9:00 am – Noon: Featured Speakers
Noon – 2:00 pm: Native Plant Sale
