The Marine Trades Association of New Jersey’s analysis is a two-year effort to quantify the economic impacts of recreational boating in the state of New Jersey. The purpose of the study, the first of its kind in New Jersey, was to characterize New Jersey’s recreational boating population and to quantify the financial impact of recreational boating on New Jerseys economy. This analysis contains information about popularity of boating in Barnegat Bay.
