Prepared by researchers from the United State Geological Survey’s New Jersey Water Science Center in cooperation with the Barnegat Bay National Estuary Program, this report describes the results of a study to update estimates of nitrogen loading to the BB-LEH estuary using more recent data where available. Estimates of N loads are needed to help assess the importance of N sources within the watershed and to develop nutrient management strategies.
