This report details the findings of a BBP-funded research project by Stockton University that established a new oyster reef in the southern portion of the Barnegat Bay and augmented an existing reef near Toms River through a two different methods. After establishment in 2016 the sites were monitored through 2017 for oyster survivorship, growth, disease, and use by fish and other bay inhabitants.
