Research and Implementation
The Barnegat Bay Partnership typically solicits proposals for research or implementation projects on a triennial basis through a Grant Funding (GFO). The GFO addresses priority items identified in our CCMP, with a particular focus as determined by the Science and Technical Advisory Committee and Advisory Committee. The number and amount of awards varies depending upon the level of available funds, but matching funds or in-kind services are required.
FY22 Grant Funding Opportunity
The Barnegat Bay Partnership (BBP) is pleased to announce a FY22 Grant Funding Opportunity for projects that address CCMP Objectives/Action Items or fill knowledge/data gaps in CCMP Ecosystem-Based Targets. The BBP anticipates that a total of approximately $52,000 will be available to support one or more projects addressing these priorities. Click here for the FY22 GFO guidelines.
Schedule for the FY22 GFO
June 4, 2021: Pre-proposals to be submitted electronically to jvasslides@ocean.edu by 5:00 p.m.
June 18, 2021: Pre-proposal submitters will be notified if they are selected for development of a full proposal.
August 20, 2021: Submission of full proposals electronically to jvasslides@ocean.edu by 5:00 p.m.
October 13, 2021: Presentation of proposals to STAC (tentative date).
November 2021: Notification to applicants.
