The Spotted Lanternfly

Originally from Asia, the spotted lanternfly (Lycorma deliculatais) is now a new resident in New Jersey. Introduced into Pennsylvania accidentally in 2014, this invasive critter has made its way through eastern PA and has now been found in certain parts of New Jersey, killing various species of trees and crops along the way.
