For many New Jerseyans, summer evokes images of sun, sand, and shellfish! Oysters and clams are delicious and nutritious, but eating them raw involves a certain level of risk. Join NJ Dept of Health Shellfish Project Coordinator Virginia Wheatley to learn about naturally occurring Vibrio bacteria, Vibrio illnesses, and how regulators and the industry work together to protect you. The discussion will include steps you can take to avoid getting sick. To Register: Please register by Friday, September 20 regardless if you are planning to attend in person or remotely.
