For many New Jerseyans, summer evokes images of sun, sand, and shellfish! Oysters and clams are delicious and nutritious, but eating them raw involves a certain level of risk. Join NJ Dept of Health Shellfish Project Coordinator Virginia Wheatley to learn about naturally occurring Vibrio bacteria, Vibrio illnesses, and how regulators and the industry work together to protect you.
