Project WET Workshop for Teachers

November 10, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Project WET: Water Education Today is dedicated to solving critical environmental challenges by teaching the world about water. Project WET does this by providing hands-on, science-based water education resources to educators around the world. These resources encourage responsible environmental stewardship and promote meaningful action to address environmental challenges, climate change, social justice, and sustainability. Creating a water-literate society allows our communities to value precious resources and make informed decisions.

This Workshop for K-12 teachers will be taught in two sessions. The Morning Session concentrates on Project WET’s Curriculum and Activity Guide 2.0 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The Afternoon Session covers Climate, Water and Resilience from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. Educators are welcome to choose either one or both sessions to participate in. See the Project WET Workshop 11-10-22 flyer for more information.

Email Shari Kondrup at skondrup@brickmua.com for registration. Cost: FREE – includes book for each session and free one year subsciption to WETconnect. To learn more about Project WET, visit www.projectwet.org. The workshop is presented by Brick Township MUA and NJDEP.
