The featured speaker will be Dr. Grace Saba (Rutgers University), Mid-Atlantic Coastal Acidification Network (MACAN; https://midacan.org/). This presentation will focus on the current state of acidification in the Mid-Atlantic, the ongoing efforts and challenges for monitoring acidification, as well as determining ecological impacts to organisms and engagement approaches the MACAN uses to communicate with industry stakeholders.

As a part of the Marine Extension Program Seminar Series (MEPSS) with Rutgers Cooperative Extension, this will be a free “HyFlex” seminar, where people can attend live at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Ocean County (1623 Whitesville Road, Toms River, NJ 08755) or remotely via webinar.
