Lunch N’ Learn: Creating Tick Confident Communities through Citizen Science!

NJTicks4Science! is a citizen science program through Rutgers University that is looking to better understand the changing distribution of ticks and the spread of tick-borne pathogens. During this Lunch N’ Learn, we will cover this program and how you can get involved. In addition, presenters will review the various species of ticks found in New Jersey, tick prevention, removal, common tick misconceptions and explain how different pathogens are spread by different tick species.
