Exploring the JC NERR and Great Bay, Mullica River Estuary
September 10, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
The Jacques Cousteau National Estuarine Research Reserve (JC NERR) is one of the 29 National Estuarine Research Reserves created to promote the responsible use and management of the nation’s estuaries through a program combining scientific research, education, and stewardship. In this presentation by Kaitlin Gannon, the Education Coordinator of JC NERR, we will discuss the variety of terrestrial, wetland and aquatic habitats within the Reserve as well as current research, education, and stewardship efforts. We will also touch on how we’ve adapted our programing during COVID-19.
This webinar will be livestreamed on the Pinelands Commission’s YouTube channel, where the archived video will be posted for later viewing.
