Drought-Tolerant Native Plants
Cut down on your watering chores by planting drought-tolerant native plants in your yard. This talk will showcase a variety of beautiful, drought-tolerant, and wildlife-friendly plants that are adapted to our local soil and climate conditions. The program will include a demonstration of the Jersey-Friendly Yards website’s searchable Plant Database, a great tool for finding the perfect drought-tolerant plants for your yard. Presented by Karen Walzer, Public Outreach Coordinator, Barnegat Bay Partnership.
