Barnegat Bay Partnership Education & Outreach Retreat
June 28, 2023 @ 9:30 am - 3:15 pm
Climate Change Education: A Catalyst for Change
Registration is open for the 2023 Education & Outreach Retreat. Come learn about how Barnegat Bay research and restoration initiatives are addressing climate change!
The Retreat is an annual Barnegat Bay Partnership (BBP) event that fosters the exchange of information and ideas among Barnegat Bay watershed educators. This year’s Retreat is co-hosted by the Long Beach Township Marine Field Education Center, located on the bay in Holgate, NJ.
This 2023 theme is Climate Change Education: A Catalyst for Change. Join us for a keynote address by Janice McDonnell of Rutgers University about the NJ Climate Change Standards, hands-on activities at the Field Station, and a brainstorming session to jump-start a Climate Change Education Action Plan for the Barnegat Bay watershed. See the agenda below or download it here. If you have any questions, email Karen (kwalzer@ocean.edu) or Bailey (bsanders@ocean.edu).
