10 a.m – 2 p.m.
Help restore marsh habitat with the American Littoral Society! Place recycled trees at the Slade Dale Sanctuary in Point Pleasant, NJ. As part of a living shoreline project, these trees will be placed within a branchbox breakwater. A branchbox breakwater is designed to collect sediment and lessen the impact of water movement.
For more info, visit the Littoral Society’s events page or contact Captain Al Modjeski at 732-291-0055 (Habitat Restoration Director for the American Littoral Society).
